How the Lace Loft Started

Once upon a time, sneakers were bought, worn, and sold in the way that the manufacturer sold them. Then came sneakerheads and sneaker culture, which flipped that narrative on its head. With people wanting to bring more individualism out of their footwear, customizing, painting, and changing elements of their sneakers to represent themselves more authentically. This was the time when The Lace Loft started its own journey.

We started out providing replacement laces for sneakers and shoes as we ourselves found it difficult to source shoelaces of good quality in various sizes, lengths, and colors. We built and opened our online store providing just that: a range of shoelaces for various sneakers and trainers. As sneakerhead culture grew, so did our store, bringing more products online that customers had been asking for, like sneaker brushes, cleaners, shoe trees, and lace locks—small items to help keep your sneakers in check. We now sell over 100 pairs of laces a week to customers all over the United Kingdom.

So now in 2024, we at The Shoelace Store supply shoelaces and sneaker accessories. Our products include items such as shoelaces, aglets, lace locks, sneaker cleaning brushes, kits, and more. We hold a wide selection of accessories and shoelaces in many sizes, shapes, and variations for a wide range of sneakers and trainers. We are online only and no physical store and sell direct to consumers through our website. Our orders are processed within 1-2 days and we aim to get orders to customers in under 3 working days if placed before 12.00pm.
