Run The Boroughs and New Balance’s Made in UK 576 Collaboration

Step into London's Lively Neighbourhoods with Run The Boroughs and New Balance's Made in UK 576 Collaboration

London-based running collective Run the Boroughs has teamed up with New Balance once again for a special release in celebration of the annual TSC London Marathon. This year, the duo has focused on revamping the classic 576 silhouette with a unique design that showcases the collective’s local roots and love for the city of London.

Since 2018, Run The Boroughs has brought together a tight-knit community of British runners and hosted immersive races throughout the city, welcoming athletes of all ages and levels of experience. Now, in honor of the 42-kilometer marathon, the collective has collaborated with New Balance to create a shoe that inspires wearers to explore London’s enchanting neighborhoods.

The new Run The Boroughs x New Balance 576 features a nature-inspired green color scheme, with mossy shades covering the suede mudguards and heel counters. Grey mesh underlays reflect London’s concrete buildings, while lighter variations hit the medial panels, ankle areas, and rear tabs. The shoe’s design is completed with two-toned midsoles and gum bottoms that are track-ready.

The sneaker also features some unique and interesting design elements. For example, the pigskin tongues are fuzzy and can receive interchangeable patches with compass-like directions, portraying different areas across London. The customary N logos decorate the first with white leather perimeters, while grey rubber heel guards are embossed with New Balance branding accompanied by additional markings throughout the pair.

The Run The Boroughs x New Balance 576 will be available via New Balance and select retailers starting from April 20. Don’t miss the chance to get your hands on this special release and show your love for London and running. Image Credit: RUN THE BOROUGHS
